Each machine is supplied with 4 plates, an embossing mat and can be used straight out of the box with Quickutz, Jeart, Joycraft, Marianne Designs, Nellie Snellan, Go Kreate and Spellbinders dies. If you have a collection of Provocraft (Cuttlebug) dies and embossing folders or Sizzix dies you will need the SP plate which we can supply when you buy the machine. This machine cannot be used with the thick sizzix dies or Marianne Designs Cut and Emboss folders.
Pretty much the same machine as the Joy Craft Trouvaille and made in the same factory, this machine is fantastic value for money. Artemio have chosen metal gears for their machine. This does increase the weight of the machine to 7.5kg but ensures years of trouble free crafting with the all important metal gears. It is important however to follow the sandwichs listed below. As with other A4 machines if you attempt to force a sandwich through this can damage your machine.
For standard die-cuts Maximum 200 gsm From bottom to top, stack: A Pad A this is your base plate and is used in every sandwich Die Standard paper die - cutting side face up (foam side up if you use Nellie Snellen dies) P A sheet of paper standard maximum 200 gsm C Cutting pad C (for standard paper, used with 200 g papers, 2 mm EVA foam and 0.4 mm flexible magnets) Do not force the sandwich through the machine. Slide everything in the machine and turn the handle.
For thick die-cuts (provocraft) or cardstock to a maximum of 400 gsm or 2 mm felt From bottom to top, stack: A Pad A Die Thick paper dies (with foam facing upwards) or thin dies if cutting heavier cardstock P A sheet of paper (with thick dies) or cardstock max 400 gsm (with thin dies) or felt maximum 2 mm thick D Cutting pad D (for thick paper dies, used with 400 gsm paper/cardstock, 3 mm EVA foam and 2 mm flexible magnets, fabric and felt) Insert the stack into the machine and turn the handle. Do not force the sandwich through.

Do not force the sandwich through.
Cut out and emboss To use the cutting dies and then emboss. Cut by following the pad order for cutting (follow the instructions) then place your paper in the shape to be cut out and follow the order of the pads to emboss and put it through the machine.
For embossing folders Provocraft (Cuttlebug) and Crafts Too folders Open the (M) double-piece embossing and place a sheet of paper or light cardstock in it. From bottom to top, stack: B Pad B M Embossing folder with paper inside SP: Special Adapter Plate Insert the stack into the machine and turn the handle. Do not force the sandwich through.
Tips 1. Insert a shim between the Die and A if the result of the cuts are incomplete. Use a sheet of paper, thin cardstock or a piece of acetate. 2. Always use the pads in the order indicated or else it could damage the machine.
